Pineapple
This suncatcher was inspired by a trip to Newport, Rhode Island.
Many of the mansions had statues and pictures of pineapples.
The tour guide said that the men used to go traveling around the
world, and when they'd come home from foreign places they would
put a pineapple outside their door. This signified, "Hey, I'm
home! Everyone come on in and join the party!"
They make great housewarming presents!
